We are working with a well-established Tier 2 main contractor delivering new build and refurbishment residential and commercial projects across the UK. Due to continued growth within their design team, we are recruiting a Design Manager to oversee design coordination and delivery across multiple projects, with responsibilities split between office and site visits.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging the design process throughout project lifecycles for residential and commercial schemesCoordinating internal teams, architects, engineers, and consultantsReviewing drawings, specifications, and technical submissions for accuracy and feasibilityLeading design workshops and technical reviewsEnsuring design solutions align with programme, budget, and client requirementsSupporting bid teams with design input for upcoming projectsTravelling to site as required to support design coordination and technical deliveryExperience & RequirementsProven experience as a Design Manager or similar role in constructionStrong experience across residential and commercial new build and refurbishment projectsExperience managing multidisciplinary design teamsTechnical understanding of construction processes and materialsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to split time effectively between office and siteRelevant professional qualifications preferredWhat's on OfferCompetitive all-in salary of £70,000 - £80,000 (Ltd company option available)Exposure to a variety of high-quality residential and commercial projectsCareer progression opportunities within a Tier 2 main contractorSupportive and collaborative design team environmentOffice-based role with site visits offering varied project experienceWe are keen to speak with Design Managers looking to develop their career with a respected main contractor delivering residential and commercial new build and refurbishment projects #J-18808-Ljbffr
