Do you have experience designing mechanical products or assemblies? Have you used 3D CAD such as SolidWorks in a professional setting? Are you comfortable working with tolerances, drawings, and technical documentation?

Interpret customer requirements and define design specifications Develop and validate pump designs for performance and durability Carry out tolerance analysis on assemblies Produce and maintain technical documentation and reports Create and modify 3D CAD models and engineering drawings Apply GD&T to ensure manufacturability and fit for purpose design Support prototype builds and testing activities Present design updates and solutions to internal stakeholders Where will you be doing it?
Established engineering and manufacturing site in Kendal Working within a collaborative detailed design team Supporting global customers in power generation and industrial sectors Mix of new product development and ongoing project work What will you need?
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar; or equivalent experience Experience with rotating equipment or assemblies Understanding of engineering design processes Strong 3D CAD capability; SolidWorks preferred Experience producing technical drawings and specifications Knowledge of tolerancing and GD&T Good communication and stakeholder management skills Organised approach with ability to meet deadlines
