Deputy Manager – Early Years Setting We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to support the leadership of a busy early years setting. This is a hands-on role, deputising for the Nursery Manager and helping to deliver high-quality childcare and education.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in day-to-day running of the setting, ensuring compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety standards Support and lead the staff team, including mentoring, training, and performance monitoring Deputise for the Manager, taking responsibility for operations in their absence Assist with operational tasks, budget monitoring, and occupancy management Engage with parents and external professionals to maintain high standards of service Requirements:

Previous experience in early years leadership (Deputy or Room Leader experience preferred) Strong organisational, communication, and team management skills Knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and childcare legislation A fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive and thriving early years environment
