Position:

We are looking for a Deputy Clinical Lead to join our existing team. Working alongside and deputising for the Clinical Lead, the successful applicant will demonstrate effective leadership and support service delivery within the business. The Deputy clinical lead will lead on clinical audits, be responsible for providing supervision and case management, supporting the delivery of CPD and reporting on performance targets and safety quality issues.

This role is instrumental in driving high quality and systematic provision of evidence-based therapies to patients referred to the service and demonstrating effective leadership and management qualities.

The Deputy Clinical Lead will have strong leadership skills to work within our service, alongside the clinical lead to support the directions and delivery of key service targets and drive high quality care throughout the planning and delivery of service.

Specifically, the successful candidate will have responsibility for leading on the clinical excellence, driven by the use of evidence and data through monitoring, audit, training and research. As well as support the promotion of high performance and supportive service culture in the service

The successful applicant will be based in the UK and working fully remotely.

Salary: £55,000 - £58,000 per annum

40 hours per week Monday to Friday

We are looking for our new Deputy Clinical Lead to be a team player, communicate effectively with internal and external customers verbally and in writing, time manage to meet agreed deadlines in a demanding environment and to be motivated to contribute to helping thousands each year.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Deputy Clinical Lead join our existing team. The successful applicant will hold a clinical caseload providing assessment and treatment to patients experiencing common mental health problems as well as supporting a small team of senior therapists to deliver the service.

> To work as part of the management team to ensure the service delivers on KPIs and also regularly monitor service performance

> To conduct clinical audit data and develop improvement plan where necessary

> To facilitate clinical skill supervision for individual PWPs, group supervision of CBT Therapists.

> To support with risk escalation for the service, for all clinicians.

> To act as Safeguarding Lead, in the absence of the Clinical Lead.

> To deputise for the Clinical Lead

> To respond to and manage complaints

> To deliver CPD, provide advice, consultation, teaching and training

> To participate as appropriate in recruitment, both in the short-listing process and as a member of interview panels.

> To report on performance targets and safety quality issues

> To provide mental health duty cover as and when required, supporting with clinical queries and reviewing of clinical report checks.

> To support the development of special interest champions and leading of engagement meetings.

> To lead on regular meetings and maintain a direct relationship with clinical staff.

> To manage a small clinical caseload, in line with BABCP requirements.

> Any other reasonable duties as required.

Qualifications:

Experience & Knowledge:

Experience in the Corporate Market (D)

Experience of the Occupational Health and Healthcare Insurance Markets (D)

Previous experience working in public and private healthcare (E)

Very good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills (D)

Skills & Abilities: (E)

Ability to work within a team to achieve the best outcomes for your patients and staff

Ability to work under supervision

Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers verbally and in writing

Ability to time manage in order to meet agreed deadlines in a demanding environment

Ability to provide detailed reporting to the client on patient progress using standardised report templates and the company database

A good of understanding & experience of clinical governance

Ability to identify and employ clinical governance mechanisms for clinical practice
