We have an opening within our 70 bedded care home for a Deputy Manager to support the Manager in our residential care home in Stockton on tees.

We are seeking someone dedicated to join our team as senior. Working directly with the Registered Manager as the Deputy Manager.

Main Responsibilities for a Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager.

* Manage the care staff.

* Organise and supervise staff and develop their professional abilities in line with the hospital’s policies, methods and procedures.

* Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by nurses and report issues in a timely manner.

* Ensure that junior nurses are properly trained.

* Identify potential complaints and resolve them before they become a problem for patients, the hospital or other nurses.

* Provide coaching on leadership skills to nursing staff.

* Manage conflict resolution and workplace disputes.

* Coordinate activities for nurses in related fields, and share information with them.

You must be for a Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager.:

* Must have couple years’ experience as a senior member of staff within a care home;

* Experienced in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services;

* Experienced in working in the healthcare sector;

* Driven and motivated and believe in quality care;
