Role Overview
We are seeking an
SC-cleared Denodo Data Engineer
to join a
central government data platform programme . This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach. You will work within a delivery team to build and deliver
base and integration views
across connected systems, supporting data migration and platform modernisation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver base and integration views from connected data systems Build and optimise data pipelines to support data migration Support automation and assist with code creation and testing Perform complex data transformations and processing using appropriate coding languages Collaborate closely with client stakeholders and contribute to workshops
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong
Denodo experience Proven understanding of
Denodo VDB performance, optimisation, and security patterns , including:
Query delegation Caching strategies Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Excellent client-facing and communication skills Commercial awareness and experience working within delivery teams
Desirable Skills
Experience with
Jira and Confluence Some understanding of
legacy government data warehouse estates
Security Requirements
Candidates
must hold active SC Clearance
with a
UK government department , transferable where required
