Debt Recovery Agent / Contact Centre Telephone Collections Agent who has some previous experience in the collections / financial services industry within a call centre environment is required for an established call centre that has built its reputation by providing specialised, and compassionate engagement services to clients.
SALARY: £26,250 - £30,385 per annum (depending on experience) + Bonus + Generous Benefits (see below)
LOCATION: Hybrid / Kirkby, Liverpool Merseyside, North West England (L33)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm
Although the company has no immediate plans to change their working hours, they may at some point in the future return to the original shift pattern which is an alternating 2-week shift of Monday – Friday 8am - 4pm and 10am – 7pm and 1 Saturday every 4 weeks, 9am – 2pm
Due to continued growth the company is looking to hire multiple people to join the team.

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Debt Recovery Agent / Contact Centre Telephone Collections Agent who has some previous experience in the collections / financial services industry within a call centre environment.
Due to continued growth, the company is looking to recruit multiple people. As the Debt Recovery Agent / Contact Centre Telephone Collections Agent you will have some previous experience working in a similar environment, be very customer focussed, supporting customers to pay off their debts in a practical and affordable way.
Working as a Debt Recovery Agent / Contact Centre Telephone Collections Agent you will aim to understand customers individual circumstances by asking questions and ensuring that the customers best interests are met.
The company find people learn best in person and from hearing and watching others, so as the Debt Recovery Agent / Contact Centre Telephone Collections Agent you will start at their office in Kirkby, Liverpool, Merseyside. Once you’re up to speed there will be opportunities for a hybrid working pattern starting from 3 months service if you are hitting targets and have reached core competency in the role, this will be split between working from home and the office for part of the week, which allows you to have a great work life balance,
ABOUT YOU
As a successful candidate you will have the following attributes:
• Previous collections / financial services industry experience within a call centre environment
• Good understanding of FCA Regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of vulnerable customers and how to identify them
• Good telephone manner, building rapport with customers
• Strong listening skills with the ability to confidently articulate the best outcome for the customer on the spot
• Good negotiation skills
• Good IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Excel
