Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Data Centre Technician to join a specialist team supporting the operation and maintenance of a mission-critical data centre facility in Longacre. This hands-on role is ideal for a technically minded individual with experience in mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems looking to develop within a high-performance, high-availability environment.

Key Responsibilities

. Carry out routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs on data centre infrastructure. . Respond to building management system (BMS) alarms and perform fault diagnosis and resolution. . Assist with HVAC, UPS, and power distribution systems to ensure continuous operation. . Support vendor management and oversee third-party contractor performance and compliance. . Record utility readings and complete site walkthroughs to monitor operational status. . Ensure all work is carried out to site standards, safety procedures, and documentation protocols. . Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team while taking ownership of assigned tasks.
