As a Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the data infrastructure that powers these decisions, working in a mission-driven, collaborative environment.


THE ROLE

As a Data Engineer, you will build and maintain the data pipelines and infrastructure that underpin audience measurement for out-of-home advertising. Your work will ensure seamless data flow from sources into GCP and Postgres, while supporting the team’s research and analytics efforts.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Technical tasks: Managing and optimizing data pipelines using GCP, Terraform, and ProxMox, with a focus on handling sensitive data securely.
  • Other key responsibilities: Collaborating with data scientists to refine audience insights, ensuring GDPR compliance, and contributing to ad-hoc tasks that improve system efficiency.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful Data Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with GCP (commercial exposure required) and Terraform.
  • Proficiency in Postgres, with experience managing sensitive data in a secure environment.
  • Strong communication skills and an interest in the technical aspects of data engineering.
  • Exposure to Proxmox is highly valued, as is familiarity with GDPR and data protection.
  • Exposure to Data Science is appreciated
  • Experience with Linux is also desirable
  • Experience in AdTech is a plus, but not essential.
