WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in one of our office hubs mentioned above

This is an excellent opportunity to join our team! You'll play a pivotal role in crafting and implementing data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), collaborating with multi-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data products into our new data architecture, driving innovation and optimizing data utilization.

Join our forward-thinking Consumer Lending team as we embark on a journey towards a data-driven future. We seek a hardworking Data Design Engineer to support our data transformation initiatives and develop a modern data platform powered by consumer data products.

We require a proven track record of experience on a real production platform, a “can-do” attitude, capability of bootstrapping projects, and the ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary, internal, and external teams across the project lifecycle.

• Design and develop scalable data solutions on GCP, ensuring alignment with our data transformation goals
• Collaborate with data producers and consumers to integrate consumer data products into the data mesh
• Advocate for best practices in data design and GCP usage across the organization
• Address and resolve complex data design challenges
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data architecture and processes
• Align data solutions with group data governance and control frameworks to support risk reduction

• Proven experience in data design and engineering, preferably on Google Cloud Platform
• Strong understanding of data mesh architecture and consumer data products
• Knowledge of Dimensional and Normalized data modeling
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A passion for data-driven decision-making and innovation
