Job Description

Data Analyst | Global Broadcasting Business | London/Hybrid

Our client is a world-leading TV and Film broadcasting business with a global presence, managing several subsidiaries with a focus on factual and documentary programming. The business has a strong streaming and online presence and continues to grow despite ongoing challenges in the wider TV and Film industry, with a keen, adaptive eye on the market and delivering what consumers are looking for in their entertainment. With a global presence and regional revenue of £100mil, our client has made a name for themselves as a resilient and exciting broadcasting business ahead of the game.

The role is hybrid with 2 days expected in-office and 3 work from home.

The Role

We’re looking for a curious, detail-driven Data Analyst to join a high-impact insights team at a growing digital business. Reporting into the Director of Insights, you’ll play a key role in owning the full data lifecycle—from collection and transformation through to reporting and visualisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1–2 years’ commercial experience who’s keen to deepen their data expertise, contribute to real business decisions, and learn from experienced senior stakeholders across product, commercial, and finance.

You’ll get to work on a wide range of projects that directly influence how content and digital products perform across multiple platforms. You’ll also help build and improve dashboards, automate routine reports, and bring data storytelling to life in a way that empowers teams to make smarter decisions.

We’re looking for someone who brings a foundational understanding of SQL and Python/R, alongside a knack for data wrangling, dashboard building, and clear communication. An interest in entertainment, media, or digital content is a definite bonus.

Our client is really looking for someone who is keen to get stuck in and be a major value-add to a scaling team, while being provided unparalleled support and development.

• Own the gathering, cleaning, and preparation of datasets from a variety of sources

• Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI, helping automate routine reports

• Respond to ad hoc requests from stakeholders with clear, actionable insights

• Identify ways to improve data accuracy, reporting consistency, and team-wide standards

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure data is relevant, accessible, and high quality

• Contribute to small- and medium-scale data projects, tracking milestones and deliverables

• Support wider reporting and analysis needs across product, content, and marketing

• Help tell compelling data stories to both technical and non-technical audiences

What We Need to See (Essential)

• 1–2 years of experience in a data, insights, or analytics role

• Solid knowledge of Power BI, SQL and either Python or R

• A passion for Media/Digital Media and TV and Film!

What We’d Like to See (Bonus)

• Experience in media, entertainment, or digital content businesses

• Understanding of business KPIs, digital performance metrics, and reporting frameworks

Salary: £33,000-£37,000

Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days’ work from home)
