The Water Catchment Management team seeks a recognised Dams and Reservoir water management industry expert to lead and drive an extensive programme of high‑profile projects across multiple sectors. Responsibilities

Technical leadership and governance on all projects. Support staff at a project level to deliver high‑quality, technically robust dam engineering deliverables. Oversee and deliver technical reviews. Collaborate with the wider Jacobs business and client technical, legal and commercial matters associated with reservoirs. Develop and mentor colleagues and peers, providing technical guidance and support to reservoir engineers working towards appointment to the SE or ARPE panels. Provide subject matter expertise and input to sales and operational teams to support business development opportunities, including bid support.

Qualifications

Appointed to the All Reservoirs Panel of Engineers, or have the experience and qualifications to apply for the All Reservoirs Panel in the future. Experience of inspecting embankment dams. Knowledge of embankment dam behaviour, monitoring and surveillance. A well‑respected industry profile with links to industry and academia. Chartered with the Institution of Civil Engineers. Ability to foster and grow a culture of professional and personal development across all levels of the business. A record of publications (journal articles, book chapters, conference papers).
