Salary: £85–£100 per day

Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and the specific requirements of each placement. Higher rates are available for candidates with substantial experience and/or recognised Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications (or equivalent).

About the Role

We are currently recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to support a range of vibrant and welcoming primary schools across Hackney. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across EYFS, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, and SEN settings, gaining valuable experience while making a real difference in children’s lives.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (preferred)

• A passion for supporting children’s learning and development

• Experience or knowledge of SEN/SEND – highly beneficial

• A positive, flexible, and proactive approach

• The ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, KS2, and SEN settings

• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

• Providing 1:1 or small group support where needed

• Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment

• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
