Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled D365 F&O Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) implementation projects. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical understanding of D365 F&O with strong project management expertise to ensure timely delivery of ERP initiatives, integrations, and technical enhancements. Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of D365 F&O technical projects, including system upgrades, customisations, and integrations. Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third‑party vendors to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines. Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies. Oversee technical resources, including developers, functional consultants, and solution architects, ensuring alignment with project goals. Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving technical and operational challenges proactively. Ensure quality standards are met, including testing, documentation, and adherence to best practices in D365 F&O. Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation effectively. Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing project status reports, dashboards, and updates. Stay current with Dynamics 365 F&O developments, emerging technologies, and ERP best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience managing technical projects in D365 Finance & Operations. Strong understanding of D365 F&O architecture, modules, integrations, and customisations. Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, and technical deployments. Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk management. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and DevOps practices in an ERP environment. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities. Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 technical/functional certifications are advantageous.
