Design, implement, and maintain cyber security solutions across networks, endpoints, cloud, and applications Monitor security events, alerts, and incidents; lead or support incident response activities Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration test reviews, and risk assessments Implement and manage security tools such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and DLP Support security architecture, hardening, and secure configuration of systems Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and business teams to embed security best practices Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures Support compliance with frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, or Cyber Essentials Provide guidance and mentoring to junior security team members (for senior profiles) Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends
Required Skills & Experience
3–15 years of experience in cyber security engineering, security operations, or related roles Strong knowledge of:
Network security (firewalls, VPNs, TCP/IP, DNS) Endpoint and server security (Windows/Linux) Cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Hands-on experience with security monitoring and incident response Experience with vulnerability management tools and remediation processes Understanding of identity and access management (IAM) Familiarity with secure coding principles and DevSecOps concepts
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
