Salary: 60,000 – 70,000 + bonus + extensive benefits
Employment Type: Full Time / Permanent
Location: Hybrid / West Midlands – 1 day a week in the office
The Role and Company:
We are seeking a driven Cyber Incident Response Lead to join a large, nationally recognized brand headquartered in the West Midlands.
The Cyber Incident Response Lead will be responsible for protecting system assets and personnel from cyber security threats. You will be part of a world-class Cyber Security Incident Response Team, ensuring the organization is prepared to respond effectively to cyber security incidents.
Ideal candidates will be Midlands-based and able to work on-site in Warwickshire approximately once a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a small but growing team of Incident Responders.
- Coordinate incident response efforts related to cyber security incidents.
- Plan and conduct incident readiness activities, including exercises.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth post-incident reviews to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure remediation of identified improvements.
- Maintain and update Incident Response documentation regularly.
- Prepare and present incident reports to stakeholders.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in coordinating complex cyber security incident responses within an enterprise organization.
- Extensive experience in leading post-incident reviews and root cause analysis.
- Experience leading a small team is preferred but candidates eager to develop into leadership roles are encouraged to apply.
- Experience implementing ITIL best practices in an enterprise environment is preferred.
