Customs Clerk - Coleshill - Up to £33,000

We are seeking a Customs Coordinator to join our client at their Coleshill operation. This role offers the opportunity to build a career in a fast-paced logistics environment, supporting the accurate and compliant processing of import and export customs entries.

You will act as a key contact for customers, customs authorities, and internal teams, ensuring the smooth and timely movement of goods across borders.

This position suits someone detail-focused, organised, and confident managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Process import and export customs entries accurately and on time
Prepare and check customs documentation for full regulatory compliance
Liaise with customs authorities and external parties to resolve queries and issues
Support customers with enquiries in a professional and proactive manner
Work with internal teams to ensure smooth freight movement through the supply chain
Monitor shipments and ensure all documentation is completed within deadlines
Investigate and resolve customs delays, discrepancies, and documentation issues
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
Support compliance with customs legislation and company procedures
Build effective working relationships with customers and stakeholdersRequirements

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with stakeholders at all levels
Proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
