COMPANY OVERVIEW: Eagle Beverage, a fast-growing specialty beverage manufacturer in Kent, WA, focuses on private label syrups, cocktail mixers and powders and plastics products. Manufacturing since 1972 the company has over 500 SKUs of products and is looking for an additional dynamic, energetic and committed Customer Service /Logistics Specialist.
GENERAL SCOPE: This person will be a critical member of our administration team providing support on all aspects of our client development and customer service. The ideal candidate is able to manage complex details, work independently and follow through on tasks. The primary job responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to managing customer accounts, entering orders, arranging freight and working with freight forwarders, completing commercial documents and billing. Additionally, day to day functions regarding invoicing, quoting shipments and tracking orders will be expected.
Essential Job Functions:
· Manage customers' orders and production procedures. Maintain regular contact with existing customers to determine shipping needs.
· Enter orders and send quotes; email completed invoices;
· Participate in production meetings;
· Work with nominated freight forwarders/freight companies to secure pick up and bookings;
· Actively quote shipments and create BOL's;
· Issue complete, accurate and timely load confirmations to the carrier(s) on each shipment.
· Create and file Commercial Documents - Commercial Invoice, Commercial Packing List, SLI, Certificate of , Certificate of Free Sale, Health Certificate and other paperwork as needed;
· Maintain and create customer records in the Company's ERP program.
· Register customer logistics needs into our computer system with accurate, timely information.
· Communicate with customers about product shortages or delays with production, pickup or delivery;
· Track all shipments in progress and monitor on-time delivery.
· Answer a large volume of calls and answer the phones promptly.
· Coordinate with accounting and purchasing departments on sales and product inventory.
· Provide back-up to fellow team members as needed.
· Provide support and assistance to the sales team.
· Assert excellent customer service.
Required Experience:
Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role preferably for a food/consumer products company.
Bachelor of Arts in business, marketing, or related field required.
Experience with freight vendors, shipping and tracking.
Ability to create and file International paperwork.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
Customer and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience with business systems (Netsuite ).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite as well as Google Sheets.

Authorized to work in the US.
