We have a permanent Mechanical Craft - Cranes role available within our Crane Maintenance Team. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical maintenance skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Role: Mechanical Craft - Cranes Location: Tata Steel, Shotton Works, Shotton, CH5 2NH Salary: £33,477 - £36,651 (dependent upon experience) Working pattern: Days 8am - 4pm

Start: ASAP but pending the successful result of a medical, which includes a Drug and Alcohol test

Responsibilities:

Ensure the mechanical maintenance, overhaul, and repair of crane equipment, including bay maintenance. Support general production line maintenance during downtime. Maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance in line with IMS procedures and PPE requirements. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on Overhead Travelling Cranes. Perform high-quality mechanical repairs within set deadlines based on schematics. Assist in the design and production of crane spare parts. Participate in machinery refurbishment initiatives.
