Forever Teaching is recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Greater Manchester on a day-to-day, flexible basis. This is a great opportunity if you’re looking for variety, work that fits around other commitments, or a pathway into education.\n\nAs a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step in on behalf of the class teacher to lead pre-planned lessons, keep pupils on task, and maintain a calm, productive learning environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher\n\n * \n\n Deliver pre-planned work set by teaching staff and ensure learning objectives are followed\n\n * \n\n Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies\n\n * \n\n Engage and motivate pupils, maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere\n\n * \n\n Take registers and follow school safeguarding and health & safety procedures\n\n * \n\n Provide feedback to the school at the end of the day (progress, behaviour, completed work)\n\n * \n\n Support with general classroom routines and expectations\n\nThe Ideal Candidate\n\n * \n\n Experience working with young people (schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work, etc.) is desirable\n\n * \n\n Confident leading a classroom and managing behaviour appropriately\n\n * \n\n Calm, professional, and adaptable to different schools and year groups\n\n * \n\n Strong communication skills and the ability to follow school policies\n\n * \n\n A positive attitude and commitment to safeguarding\n\nWhat Forever Teaching Offers\n\n * \n\n Flexible work to fit your schedule\n\n * \n\n Opportunities across a variety of Greater Manchester secondary schools\n\n * \n\n Ongoing support from the Forever Teaching team\n\n * \n\n Potential for long-term placements for the right candidates\n\nHow to Apply\n\nApply via CV-Library with your up-to-date CV.
