Teaching Personnel is recruiting Graduate Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Durham. This flexible role is ideal for graduates who are considering a career in teaching, education, psychology, or youth work and want practical school experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pre-prepared lessons in secondary schools (Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4)
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Support pupils in completing the work set by their teacher
• Encourage students to stay focused and engaged
• Follow school behaviour and safeguarding policies
• You will not be required to plan lessons or mark work, making this an ideal role for graduates looking to build confidence in the classroom.

Requirements

• A degree-level qualification

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
