Corporate Tax Manager - Hybrid (3 days office/2 work from home)
Our client is a well-established independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in central Manchester.
Due to continued growth they are looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join their well-established and supportive tax team whihh has a strong reputation for delivering expert advice across a broad range of tax matters.
They are looking for a motivated tax professional to manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients and provide high-quality advisory and compliance services.
Clients range from sole traders and business start-ups to multi-million-pound limited companies and partnerships.

Requirements:
* ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified.
* Minimum of 5 years’ corporation tax experience in a professional practice.
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills٫ with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Experience managing client relationships and handling a portfolio independently.
* Ability to mentor and support junior team members.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will:
* Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, including Owner-Managed Businesses (OMBs), SMEs, and larger corporate groups.
* Oversee corporate tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate tax return submissions, and advising clients on payments including quarterly instalment payments.
* Advise on tax planning opportunities, including corporate structuring, R&D tax relief, capital allowances, and other incentives.
* Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients and manage tax risk and compliance matters.
* Provide support on more complex tax advisory projects, tax due diligence, share valuations, and international tax matters.
* Develop and mentor junior team members, supporting their technical and professional growth.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for tax matters.
* Stay up to date with tax legislation.
* Ensure that assignments are completed within budget and all parties are kept informed of overruns.
* Manage WIP and billing process on your portfolio of clients.
