Corporate Tax Associate (1-3 PQE)

The Team:

This team works at the centre of entrepreneurial and private capital activity, advising founders, business owners, and investors on structuring their business and personal affairs for growth, efficiency, and long-term value.


Their work spans:

  • Business and investment structuring
  • Day-to-day strategic and commercial advice
  • Ongoing “trusted adviser” support to leadership teams
  • Transactional and governance matters
  • Clients operate across sectors including technology, healthcare, financial services, retail, hospitality, media, and manufacturing.


The Opportunity:

This is a strong opportunity for a Corporate Tax Solicitor (1-3 PQE) to step into a highly active and growing team. You will take on early responsibility, work closely with senior stakeholders, and advise on both UK and international matters. The role offers a clear path for progression within a well-regarded and expanding practice.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise UK and international clients on corporate tax matters
  • Support and lead on cross-border structuring and investment projects
  • Provide integrated advice across tax, legal, and commercial considerations
  • Draft tax documentation, including deeds, warranties, and financing arrangements
  • Advise on tax aspects of corporate transactions
  • Assist in designing and implementing efficient business structures
  • Build strong relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, and management teams


Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales), 1-3 PQE
  • Solid experience in corporate tax and transactional work
  • Strong understanding of UK and cross-border tax structuring
  • High standard of drafting and technical ability
  • Confident communicator, comfortable in client-facing situations
  • Commercial, pragmatic, and solutions-focused approach
  • Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills


Additional Experience (Desirable):

  • Management incentives (e.g. EMI, EIS)
  • Employment-related tax, including IR35
  • Tax aspects of real estate transactions
  • Investment funds and private capital structures
  • Exposure to business development or intermediary relationships
