Responsibilities of the Controls Technician; Provide technical support for control systems including DeltaV DCS Diagnose faults and deliver rapid solutions to minimise downtime Maintain and configure automation platforms and historian tools Support plant improvements and continuous optimisation projects Assist with commissioning, testing, and system upgrades Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards In order to be successful in this position as Controls Technician it would be beneficial to have an apprenticeship, NVQ, BTEC, HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation & Automation, Chemical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
