Contracts Manager – Retrofit & Energy Efficiency Projects

Location: Oxfordshire, Berkshire & Parts of Surrey

Pyramid Recruitment is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead a range of retrofit and energy-efficiency projects across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and parts of Surrey. This is a unique opportunity to drive sustainable change through decarbonisation initiatives that directly impact local communities and contribute to carbon reduction goals.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage retrofit contracts from inception to completion

* Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and performance targets

* Supervise energy-saving installations including insulation, low-carbon heating, ventilation, and window/door upgrades

* Ensure compliance with PAS 2030/2035, ECO funding, and relevant Building Regulations

* Liaise effectively with clients, , engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders

* Conduct regular site inspections for health & safety, quality control, and project productivity

* Provide technical support to site teams and subcontractors

* Work closely with the commercial team to manage project costs and reporting deadlines

Essential Requirements

* 5+ years of experience in managing retrofit, energy efficiency, or general construction projects

* In-depth knowledge of PAS 2030/2035, ECO funding, and Building Regulations

* Certified in SMSTS, IOSH Managing Safely, and CSCS (Managers)

* Familiarity with temporary works procedures, site administration, and interpreting construction drawings

* Strong commercial awareness, communication, and problem-solving skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and PowerProject

* Full UK driving licence required
