This is a hands-on role where you will collaborate across multiple functions, balancing operational delivery with commercial strategy.
You'll play a key part in driving efficiencies, supporting growth, and maintaining high standards across all contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate tender submissions and bid activity Manage contract performance against KPIs and SLAs Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners Support commercial activities including material sales and logistics coordination Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives Produce detailed reports to support operational and commercial decision-making Ensure full compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements Spot and develop new commercial opportunities Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and high performance Represent the business at industry events when required About You Essential: Proven experience in contract or account management Background within waste, recycling, or a related sector Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities Commercially aware with a proactive mindset Strong written and reporting skills with attention to detail Confident user of Microsoft Office and digital systems Full UK driving licence Desirable: Experience managing logistics or haulage operations Exposure to commercial portfolios or P&L responsibility Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent) preferred WR Logistics are the 1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
