Middleton (Within 1 hours commute)
I'm looking for an experienced Contracts / Project Manager to take full ownership of projects from the first enquiry right through to handover and final account. If you're someone who likes seeing things through properly, enjoys juggling multiple sites, and knows Hard FM inside out, this could be right up your street.
What you'll be doing...
In short, you'll be running projects cradle to grave - managing the detail, the people, and the outcomes.
Day to day, that means:
Taking full responsibility for your contracts, from point of sale to final account close
Surveying works, scoping solutions, selecting equipment, costing and producing quotes
Managing projects to deliver on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality and H&S
Supporting PPM planners and the service desk to allocate engineer resources effectively
Coordinating and managing subcontractors and monitoring their performance
Keeping a close eye on programmes, KPIs, compliance, quality, and health & safety
Preparing project, programme, site, and management reports
Agreeing and managing site compliance and PPM works
Handling contractual notifications and keeping all correspondence up to date
Attending (and often leading) mobilisation meetings, monthly/quarterly contract meetings, and supply chain reviews
Working closely with the Head of Operations and attending management meetings
Building strong relationships with the supply chain and identifying opportunities for additional PPM and project works
Preparing monthly completed works for invoicing
Carrying out a thorough monthly review of all jobs across your allocated contracts
✅What the clients looking for...
This role suits someone who's confident, organised, and happy working with minimal hand-holding.
You'll need:
Proven experience working for a Hard FM contractor
Experience managing multiple sites and clients nationwide
Strong mechanical / HVAC background (this is essential)
The ability to take projects from enquiry to handover independently - survey, scope, design, cost, quote, and project manage
A practical, hands-on approach with strong communication skills
A solid understanding of compliance, quality, and health & safety
