Consultant Psychiatrist – General Adult
Pulse Psychiatry is currently working with both NHS and independent services seeking Consultant Psychiatrists in General Adult Psychiatry to support a range of inpatient and community teams. These roles sit within established services and offer clear clinical structures, multidisciplinary support, and flexibility across different service models.
The Role
You will provide senior clinical leadership within the team, undertaking psychiatric assessments, treatment planning, and oversight of complex cases. Responsibilities may include:
• Comprehensive assessments and risk formulation • Medication management and treatment planning • MDT leadership and supervision • Tribunal work and report writing where required
Requirements
• GMC registration • Section 12 approval and AC status (where required) • Experience working with working-age adults
