The appointee will add to a team of 11 full‑time, 1 part‑time and 1 externally contracted neuroradiologists, providing the full spectrum of diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology. The appointee will take part in on‑call coverage for diagnostic neuroradiology. The department currently provides a separate acute mechanical thrombectomy service Monday‑Friday between 08:00‑18:00 with plans to extend to a 24‑hour service once the service is fully established. Responsibilities

Provide full‑spectrum diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology services across multiple hospital sites. Collaborate with the team of 11 full‑time, 1 part‑time and 1 externally contracted neuroradiologists. Participate in on‑call coverage for diagnostic neuroradiology. Contribute to the acute mechanical thrombectomy service (currently Monday‑Friday 08:00‑18:00, with plans to extend to 24‑hour coverage). Deliver imaging services across Hull Royal Infirmary, Castle Hill Hospital, Diana Princess of Wales Hospital at Grimsby, Scunthorpe General Hospital, Goole & District Hospital, and the three Community Diagnostic Centres. Support service expansion as the new Community Diagnostic Centres open and imaging capacity increases.

Work Environment The department works across four hospital sites and three Community Diagnostic Centres, serving a population of over 1.65 million people.
