General Contractor has an immediate opening for a Full-Time, In-Office Purchasing/Procurement Administrator in its Ramsey, NJ office.

Desired Experience:

3-5 Years Minimum experience working in the purchasing/procurement department of a construction company Experience in the creation and distribution of purchase orders Ability to reconcile problem invoices to purchase orders and packing slips while bringing the any issue to a timely resolution Experience with negotiation of material pricing Experience creating initial material forecasts and delivery schedules for all construction projects Experience with material submittals Other related projects, as they arise

Skills/Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with strict attention to detail Ability to multitask efficiently Ability to prioritize effectively Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees Ability to process requests quickly and efficiently Ability to provide excellent customer service Work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic, self-motivated and self-starter
