Location: Derby, DE6 Contract Type: Start Date: April 2026 Pay Rate: £(Apply online only) per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities) Qualification: QTS (or equivalent) Experience: Minimum 6 months’ teaching experience in a UK primary school
Overview: Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive and well-respected Secondary school in Derby to recruit a dedicated Computer Science Teacher for a full-time position, starting April 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Computer Science educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students at KS3-KS4.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver the Key stage 3 and 4 curriculum
* Plan, prepare, and assess KS3/4 lessons in line with school polices
* Monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions
* Contribute to department improvement planning KS3/4
* Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents’ evenings as required
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS/or equivalent
* Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching Key stage 3 and 4 experience in a UK secondary school setting
* Is passionate about primary education and student achievement
* Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills
* Demonstrates a collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life
