Our client a provider of regulated outsourcing services within the financial services industry are looking for a Compliance Monitoring Manager with previous experience of compliance monitoring for retail investments or pensions. This is a new role which will be at the heart of the growth agenda for the organisation. The role will have a primary focus on leading the delivery of one of our core strategic deals, whilst also contributing to the wider development of our financial outsourcing services. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis of 3 days per week in the clients Reading office. Responsibilities: As a Compliance Monitoring Manager you will: Contribute to the design of an annual monitoring plan to ensure all areas covered in frequency as to both regulatory expectations and client requirements Work proactively to identify control gaps and weaknesses, determine root cause, and escalate and propose viable solutions to the risks and weaknesses identified, working to mitigate risk With the support of the Head of Compliance Monitoring, agree action plans with the business as a result of monitoring work and; follow up with the business to ensure identified risks are adequately mitigated and closed in line with agreed action plans and for evidencing and recording rationale for closure.
