Compliance Manager Mixture of Head Office, Site Visits and Hybrid Workings Up to £35,000 per annum Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
We are seeking a Compliance Manager with Facilities Management experience to take on a critical role in ensuring operational, statutory, and legal compliance across our UK contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, working with key stakeholders and making a tangible impact on safety, compliance, and service excellence. You will be a key member of the Senior Management Team, ensuring that quality, health & safety, and monitoring systems meet contractual and auditing requirements. You will play a pivotal role in setting quality benchmarks, training teams, and ensuring consistency across the contract. Key Responsibilities Quality & Compliance Develop, implement, and monitor systems to ensure compliance with quality and H&S auditing requirements. Set and maintain quality benchmarks, delivering relevant training to ensure consistency. Ensure all quality plans align with contractual specifications. Identify and report deficiencies in quality standards and implement corrective actions. Conduct regular service monitoring to ensure contractual compliance. Health & Safety Leadership Foster a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, Compass, and client Health & Safety policies Ensure all HSE incidents are correctly reported, investigated, and reviewed. Implement relevant HSE procedures, campaigns, and training initiatives. Maintain up-to-date HSE training records for all employees. Consult with employees, clients, and contractors on HSE matters to drive best practices Permit Management: Evaluate Risk Assessments & Method Statements, issuing high-risk permits within authorised disciplines. T raining & Development Ensure all direct reports complete mandatory training and maintain up-to-date records. Train, coach, and develop teams in quality assurance and compliance. Identify opportunities for improvement through innovation and best practices. Stakeholder & Client Engagement Build trusted relationships with clients, contract managers, and the support team to resolve technical issues and drive improvements. Understand and deliver contractual obligations related to quality assurance. Engage with key stakeholders to develop and improve monitoring systems. Operational & Commercial Performance Produce management reports to highlight improvement areas and compliance levels. Identify and develop opportunities for new services and operational enhancements Procurement Support: Work with specialist contractors and consultants to ensure service excellence What We’re Looking For Proven experience managing risk and compliance in Facilities Management Strong stakeholder management experience, particularly in multi-site operations. Strong IT skills and ability to produce detailed reports. IOSH Excellent communication & negotiation skills. Able to engage with clients and teams effectively. Results-driven, ability to implement improvements and exceed expectations. Self-motivated & adaptable, thrives in a changing environment. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
