Overview of role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Compliance Manager to lead a PAS2030 Compliance Team and ensure end-to-end adherence to standards across energy efficiency programmes. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring that the operations are aligned with funding, regulatory, and accreditation requirements—supporting quality assurance, audit readiness, and reporting at a level. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for regulatory excellence and sustainability.
Role responsibilities and requirements
Lead and manage the PAS2030 Compliance Team, ensuring continuous alignment with all relevant industry, funding, and accreditation standards Coordinate internal and external audits to maintain regulatory credentials Oversee accurate, on-time submission of compliance documentation for all energy efficiency measures Provide regular compliance reporting and updates to the Head of Sustainability Work closely with regional and delivery teams to support compliance across contractual obligations Offer expert guidance to operational teams regarding energy efficiency scheme standards Liaise with supply chain partners to promote consistent and compliant delivery Champion high standards in data integrity and documentation accuracy to mitigate compliance risks Maintain and enhance the PAS2030/MCS supplier and installer database Stay updated on industry developments, standards, and best practices Assist in resource planning to meet evolving compliance needs across the business Carry out other relevant duties as directed by senior leadership
Key skills and qualities needed
Deep knowledge of PAS2030, PAS2035, and MCS standards Prior experience managing compliance in a regulated or energy-efficiency setting Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new systems and platforms A strong understanding of the commercial impact of non-compliance Meticulous attention to detail and a results-driven, deadline-oriented mindset Able to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams Confident communicator with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Up-to-date Health & Safety certifications or training Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites
