A global investment firm is looking to hire aCompliance Officerinto its London office. This is a fantastic opportunity for aCompliance Officerto join a high-performing, international team within a well-established firm managing over $50bn in assets for institutional and UHNW clients.

TheCompliance Officerrole is broad, covering core compliance responsibilities with a particular focus on financial crime. As aCompliance Officeryou’ll be supporting the firm’s regulatory obligations across the UK and wider jurisdictions, gaining exposure to a global compliance framework and a collaborative culture.

This position is ideal for aCompliance Officerwith a solid foundation in compliance who is ready to step into a high-impact, front-footed role with real room for development and long-term progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the firm’s approach on AML, sanctions, anti-bribery, and broader financial crime matters as aCompliance Officer
  • Provide regulatory guidance on key frameworks including MiFID II, AIFMD, Market Abuse, and related UK/European regulations
  • Help shape internal compliance processes, procedures, and policies as regulations evolve, supporting the compliance team
  • Support regulatory submissions and ongoing engagement with the FCA as part of your compliance duties
  • Work closely with international colleagues on cross-border compliance initiatives
  • Provide input into compliance training and awareness across the business

What you’ll need to be considered for the Compliance Officer role:

  • Around 7 years’ experience in a Compliance and AML/Financial Crime role, ideally within asset or wealth management
  • Strong working knowledge of UK and European regulatory frameworks
  • Hands-on experience in financial crime (AML, CTF, sanctions, ABC)
  • Confident working with stakeholders across the business — excellent communication skills are key
  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable juggling varied workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills are a bonus
