About the role
Are you a Human Resources, Business, or data-focused student looking for a hands-on internship where you can apply your academic learning to real-world HR projects? We're looking for a Compensation & Benefits Intern to join the HR team of a global technology-led organisation operating within the energy and innovation sector. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical exposure to compensation and benefits administration, understand how reward programmes are structured and managed, and develop valuable analytical and organisational skills within a professional corporate environment.
What you'll be doing
As a Compensation & Benefits Intern, you'll support a range of analytical, administrative, and project-based activities, including: Supporting data analysis tasks such as market reviews, benchmarking, and preparation of reports Assisting with salary survey submissions to external providers and ensuring accuracy and timely completion Supporting the Compensation & Benefits team with project management activities, including tracking progress and coordinating tasks Conducting research on compensation trends and benefits practices to support internal benchmarking Helping draft internal communications related to compensation and benefits programmes Providing general administrative and operational support to the Compensation & Benefits team Gaining practical exposure to compensation and benefits processes and understanding the importance of compliance with employment legislation and policies
What we're looking for
We're keen to hear from motivated, detail-oriented students who are interested in Human Resources and enjoy working with data in a structured environment. Essential: Studying towards (or recently obtained) a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Good data analysis and research skills Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Clear communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and support the wider HR team Valid right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship Desirable: Basic understanding of HR concepts Interest in compensation, benefits, or reward-related career paths
