specifically with local health and social care professionals

as well as local people. Working within our community allows us to lead, provide, and influence care so that anyone affected by a life-limiting illness has access to the best possible support when and wherever they need it.

What Youll Be Doing

As a Community Fundraiser, youll inspire individuals, community groups, and local businesses to raise vital funds that support patients and families facing life-limiting illness.

Youll plan, promote, and deliver a range of community fundraising initiatives, from local events to major challenge activities such as the London Landmarks, Swindon Half, and Cycle Challenge.

Building meaningful relationships will be at the heart of your work, as you engage supporters, manage budgets, and co-ordinate logistics to deliver memorable, impactful events that meet fundraising goals.

Youll also lead key annual initiatives like the Christmas Tree Collection, ensuring every element runs smoothly and achieves its targets.

Additionally, you will:

- Represent us at events and meetings as a passionate ambassador - Collaborate with communications teams to promote events and share inspiring stories - Ensure compliance with all fundraising, health and safety, and safeguarding standards

What Youll Bring

To join us as a Community Fundraiser, you will need:

- Experience building relationships with diverse groups and individuals - Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload - Excellent communication and public speaking skills - A proactive and innovative approach to fundraising and supporter engagement - The flexibility for some evening and weekend work to attend events and meetings - A full, valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
