Key Responsibilities Assist chefs with food preparation and cooking across all sections
Maintain high standards of freshness, presentation, and kitchen hygiene
Follow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency
Support with stock rotation and basic kitchen organisation
Uphold all health, safety, and food hygiene standards
Be a positive, reliable member of the kitchen team
Requirements Previous experience as a commis chef or kitchen assistant in a fresh-food environment
A genuine passion for cooking and a desire to learn and progress
Good basic knife skills and understanding of kitchen operations
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
