We are currently looking to recruit a passionate Commis Chef to join our Restaurant team in our growing luxury boutique hotel. Position Overview Reporting to the Head Chef, the Commis Chef plays a key supporting role within the kitchen team, assisting with food preparation and ensuring all dishes are delivered to the highest standards. This role involves working closely with chefs across various sections, learning and developing culinary skills while maintaining excellent hygiene and cleanliness at all times. Key responsibilities include preparing ingredients, assisting in cooking and plating, keeping workstations organised, and following direction from senior chefs. The Commis Chef contributes to the smooth operation of the kitchen and the delivery of a high-quality dining experience in our luxury boutique hotel. What we looking for Previous experience working in a professional kitchen within the hospitality industry, with a good understanding of basic kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.

Good time management and the ability to stay calm and focused in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment.

A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to develop culinary skills under the guidance of senior chefs.

Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards, with a commitment to maintaining them at all times.

Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team across various kitchen sections.

A genuine passion for cooking and willingness to learn; any exposure to Italian cuisine is a plus.
