Our client, a multinational leader in the utilities sector, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial procurement professional to join their Global Procurement Function, during a period of significant continuous improvement. This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to a clean, fair, and affordable energy future through commercial and innovative supply chain leadership.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Managed Service Agreements including a significant offshore IT helpdesk contract, as well as collaborating with Procurement teams to provide critical support for future tender processes for professional services contracts. Using your experience as a Commercial professional you will apply Contract Management and Vendor Management best practices to deliver value effectively and innovatively so that business outcomes and objectives are met.
The successful candidate must have previous experience working within a global shared service environment managing high value contracts across finance, HR and IT. You will have a strategic mind set and have the ability to work extensively with stakeholders, acting as advisors to key suppliers. Customer relationship skills are key to success in this role.
You will act as a strategic procurement leader, setting direction, driving results and working with senior stakeholders, ideally you will have previous experience doing this in a regulated environment, working with high value contracts of a professional services nature.
