The Role: Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor, you will:

• Advise on commercial leases, acting for both landlords and tenants in high-value transactions.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and acquisitions, often with complex or strategic elements.
• Support on development and planning matters, advising major clients on large-scale projects.
• Act as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base — including investors, developers, landlords and occupiers.
• Lead matters independently while mentoring junior team members and contributing to business development.

What You’ll Bring

• 5–10+ years’ PQE in commercial property law, ideally from a well-regarded regional or City firm.
• Proven experience running a caseload of complex commercial property transactions.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills with a pragmatic, commercial approach.
• Excellent client relationship skills and the ability to manage demanding client portfolios.
• A following or established network is desirable but not essential.
• Proactive mindset with enthusiasm for business development and growing the firm’s offering.
