This role requires strong commercial acumen and expertise in facilities management within the PFI framework.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Lead the commercial strategy for PFI contracts, ensuring profitability and compliance\n\n * Manage the full commercial lifecycle of PFI contracts from tender to delivery\n\n * Negotiate and review contract terms, variations, and extensions\n\n * Monitor financial performance of projects against targets and KPIs\n\n * Develop and maintain strong client relationships with stakeholders in PFI environments\n\n * Identify and mitigate commercial risks within PFI projects\n\n * Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for all PFI projects\n\n * Lead commercial teams in the preparation of monthly performance reports\n\n * Support the resolution of contractual disputes and payment issues\n\n * Work with operational teams to ensure service delivery meets contractual requirements\n\n * \n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven experience in commercial management within PFI/PPP contracts\n\n * Strong understanding of facilities management service delivery and commercial models\n\n * Experience with contract negotiation and management in complex environments\n\n * Financial acumen with ability to analyze P&L statements and forecast financial performance\n\n * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills\n\n * Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements for PFI contracts\n\n * Experience with contract governance and change management processes\n\n * Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities\n\n * \n\nQualifications\n\n * Degree or professional qualification in a relevant discipline (Business, Finance, Construction, Facilities Management)\n\n * Professional membership of a relevant body (RICS, CIOB, etc.) is desirable\n\n * Experience with contract management software and reporting systems\n\nPersonal Attributes\n\n * Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities\n\n * Commercial focus with attention to detail\n\n * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills\n\n * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities\n\n * Strategic thinker with practical implementation skills\n\n * Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and managing risks
