Role: Commercial Litigation/Civil Fraud (12m FTC)

Location: London

Salary: £34k - £36k

Role Overview

A full-time paralegal opportunity has arisen in the Civil Fraud and Commercial Litigation department. The role is offered on an initial twelve-month contract and will focus on providing legal and administrative support on a significant matter.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting hearings and trials (e.g., agreeing indices, logistical coordination)
  • Preparing and managing hearing bundles
  • Liaising with external services such as transcribers
  • Document filing and retrieval
  • External correspondence by phone and email
  • Conducting legal research and drafting memos on varied issues
  • Taking detailed notes in client meetings and conference calls with counsel and third parties


Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will demonstrate:

  • A strong academic background, including a qualifying law degree or conversion course (GDL), plus postgraduate legal training (LPC or BPTC)
  • At least one year of experience as a paralegal within a litigation-focused team
  • Experience in large-scale and complex litigation
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • A high degree of attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • A proactive, collaborative, and professional approach to work
