Recruit4staff are representing a well-established building services provider in their search for a Commercial Gas Engineer to work in Manchester

Job Details:

• Pay: £45,000 per annum
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Duration: Permanent

Job Role: The Commercial Gas Engineer will work across various commercial and industrial client sites delivering fault-finding, service, maintenance, and breakdown support for heating and ventilation systems. Responsibilities include working on boilers, burners, radiant heaters, air handling units (AHUs), and related equipment. The role involves attending emergency call-outs, completing statutory PPMs in line with SFG20 standards, maintaining accurate records (both electronic and written), updating site log books, and managing subcontractors as needed.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Commercial gas service & maintenance experience
• FM PPM tasks, such as fire alarm checks
• ACS Commercial Gas tickets
• Full UK Driving Licence

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• HVAC experience
• Plumbing experience
• Electrical maintenance knowledge
