We are seeking an experiencedCommercial Gas Engineerto join our growing team, working across the Midlands. The role involves attendingcare homes and apartment blocks, carrying outbreakdowns, fault finding, and repairswithinboiler rooms and plant rooms.This is a field-based role suited to a proactive engineer with strong diagnostic skills and experience in commercial heating systems.Key ResponsibilitiesAttend reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outsDiagnose and repair faults on commercial gas boilers and plant equipmentWork within boiler rooms and plant rooms in care homes and residential apartment blocksCarry out safe isolation, testing, and recommissioning of gas appliancesComplete job reports and documentation accuratelyEnsure all work complies with current Gas Safe and health & safety regulationsLiaise professionally with site managers, caretakers, and residents where requiredRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience as aCommercial Gas EngineerStrong fault-finding and breakdown experienceExperience working in boiler rooms and plant roomsAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyGood customer-facing and communication skillsQualificationsValidGas Safe RegistrationCommercial Gas ACS qualifications (e.g. CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A or equivalent)Full UK driving licenceWhats on OfferCompetitive salary of£45,000 - £50,000 per yearCompanyvan and fuel cardprovidedStable, long-term work across the MidlandsSupportive team environmentJBRP1_UKTJ
