They're looking for a commercially sharp Finance Director who wants to step into a genuine “challenger CFO” position. The plan is clear: work alongside an experienced CFO, learn the business and add strategic value, and then be ready to step up post‑exit in c.2 years. You’ll be the bridge between core finance, FP&A and the wider business – driving performance, challenging decisions, and helping shape the growth story ahead of exit. The role

Commercial partnering with the CEO and senior leadership team Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and performance insight Leading on pricing, margin optimisation and strategic decision‑making Supporting value creation initiatives in line with the PE agenda Playing a key role in preparing for exit Building credibility as the natural successor to the CFO

What we're looking for

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent) Proven experience in a PE‑backed or high‑growth environment Strong commercial instinct – someone who can influence, not just report Ambition to step into a CFO role in the near term Gravitas and presence to operate at board level
