As Global Director of Commercial Finance, you will join the senior leadership team and act as a key strategic partner to the CEO, CFO and investors. You will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, optimising subscriber economics and driving long-term value creation in a recurring revenue environment. Backed by a leading mid-market PE fund since 2020, the business has scaled rapidly through brand strength, digital performance marketing, customer loyalty and product innovation. Key Responsibilities
Own the commercial finance strategy across customer acquisition, retention, pricing and lifetime value optimisation Lead exit readiness by refining KPIs, strengthening finance processes and preparing investor materials for future transaction events Deliver clear, actionable board reporting and performance insight to senior leadership and PE investors Drive deep insight into subscription metrics, including CAC, LTV, payback periods, churn, retention cohorts, ARPU and contribution margin Partner with Marketing and Growth teams to evaluate channel performance, ROI and media efficiency Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, with particular focus on subscriber growth, cash flow dynamics and unit economics Oversee financial modelling around international expansion, pricing strategy, promotional mechanics and new product launches Enhance BI capability and reporting infrastructure to support scalable, data-led decision making Build and lead a high-performing commercial finance and FP&A team aligned to a fast-scaling D2C environment
Requirements
Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA with a strong commercial finance background Proven experience in a PE-backed, high-growth consumer or subscription business Strong understanding of subs based metrics, digital performance marketing and recurring revenue economics Experience supporting exit or major transaction processes, or extensive M&A background

Advanced financial modelling across customer cohorts, pricing and promotional strategy Hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally Experience in international expansion
