We're Hiring a Part-Time Chief Scientific Officer (CSO)

Location: Remote or Oxford-based (flexible), must be UK/USA-based

Commitment: Part-time | Equity-first | Salary upon investment

Rokalin BioSystems is a deeptech startup building a B2B biotech platform to help pharma, biotech, and academia accelerate drug development. We offer services in drug screening , nanoformulation , and computational discovery transforming how complex molecules move toward the clinic.

Were seeking a CSO to help design, validate, and lead our scientific roadmap.

What Youll Do:

Design screening and formulation workflows & SOPs

Guide QA/QC methods and lab setup strategy

Assist in grant writing (Innovate UK, NIHR, etc.)

Evaluate instrumentation, costs & risk

Join investor and partner meetings for scientific input

Ideal Experience:

Postdoc or equivalent industry experience in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nanomedicine, or drug delivery.

Expertise in drug delivery, formulation, or screening

Startup-ready: MVP-first, comfortable with ambiguity

Grant writing or CRO setup experience

Strong communicator across technical and strategic roles
