The Role Manpower Engineering are looking for an experienced Coded Welder to join the on-site fabrication shop, working closely with the Welding Manager and existing fabrication team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity , with a genuine intention to offer a permanent position to the right candidate. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out Flux Core welding to ASME IX coded standards , working on hydraulic components and assemblies in a busy fabrication workshop environment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, maintains high quality standards, and is comfortable working within a structured production environment with strict deadlines. Key Responsibilities Flux Core welding to ASME IX coded standards Welding hydraulic components and assemblies in a fabrication shop environment Working closely with the Welding Manager and fabrication team Ensuring all welds meet quality assurance and inspection standards Reading and working from engineering and fabrication drawings Carrying out weld preparation and ensuring components are ready for welding Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace Adhering to QA procedures, welding procedures, and production schedules Essential Requirements Proven experience working as a Coded Welder in a fabrication/workshop xehkeey environment Flux Core welding experience ASME IX coding (essential) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience welding hydraulic equipment, pipework, or precision fabrications preferred Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and consistency Reliable, punctual, and able to work to tight deadlines Good communication skills and ability to work within a small, organised team What's on Offer Competitive CIS rate - DOE Stable workload within a growing engineering business Opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate Professional, structured workshop environment
