My client is a well establish OEM manufacturer making a range of niche equipment for a variety of manufacturing businesses in the UK and Europe, as a result of a forthcoming retirement they are looking for a machinist to join their settled team.
You will be editing programmes and editing a Mazak Vertical machining equipment as well as manually turning lathes. The role is a permanent role. the hours of work are 7.30-4.15 Monday to Thursday and 7.30-12-15 on Fridays with 33 days holiday increasing to 38 days after 5 years. Overtime at enhanced rates is also available and the company has a generous pension scheme (employer contribution 10%) The company also operates a generous bonus system worth up to 20% of basic salary. You will be machining a variety of components and equipment and should have a recognised apprenticeship.
